43 Vessels Expected With Petroleum Products, Food Items, Others In Lagos — NPA

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says 43 vessels laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected at Apapa, Lekki Deep Sea and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos.

The NPA disclosed this in its Daily Shipping Position on Tuesday, saying the vessels are expected between Sept. 29 and Oct. 8.

According to the authority, 19 of the vessels are laden with containers carrying various goods, while the remaining 25 will berth with crude oil, diesel, general cargo, aviation fuel, bulk gas, steel, bulk sugar, fresh fish, boats, bulk urea and bulk bitumen.

Meanwhile, the NPA said eight ships and tankers had arrived at the three ports and were waiting to berth with bulk urea, general cargo, crude oil, bulk wheat and petrol.

It added that 18 vessels were currently discharging containers, fresh fish, general cargo, diesel, bulk urea, bulk sugar, petrol, aviation fuel, bulk gas, bulk gypsum and clinker at the three ports.
